Nick Statt is a Senior Producer on Decoder at The Verge. Before that, he spent more than a decade covering large technology companies, Silicon Valley startups, and the gaming industry as a reporter and editor for news publications like The Verge, Protocol, and CNET and for gaming consultancy and newsletter operation Naavik. In his free time, Nick is the proud co-parent of a shy and peculiar orange cat named General Bean Sprout, with whom he resides in Rochester, NY, which it turns out is actually Western New York and not just upstate.

The event takes place starting at 12PM PT / 3PM ET at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas on Wednesday, January 7th. Nilay will be taking the stage with Min at 12:30PM to talk AI, the state of gaming, and everything Razer is announcing at the show, followed by a live Vergecast taping at 3:30PM PT.
