Death Stranding 2 will get a 21:9 ultrawide mode on PS5, not just on PC.

Death Stranding 2 is coming to PC on March 19th, and the system requirements are fairly relaxed, except for needing 150GB of SSD storage — an especially tough ask for portable players (who are getting their own graphics preset). A 21:9 ultrawide mode is coming to PC and the PS5. Although, it seems likely that the effect will be simulated on PS5 like it was with its predecessor, with horizontal black bars and a wider field of view.

An image that shows the PC system requirements for Death Stranding 2. The minimum spec to enjoy 1080p gaming at 30 frames per second includes Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1660 and 10th Gen Intel CPUs and Ryzen 3 3rd Gen CPUs, 16GB of RAM. Its other tiers don’t ramp up specs dramatically; the “very high” rig to get 4K at 60 frames per second includes Nvidia’s RTX 4080 or AMD’s Radeon 9070 XT, at least a high-end 11th Gen Intel CPU or Ryzen 7 5th gen CPU. All PCs require 150GB of available SSD space.

$100 off the Xbox ROG Ally, plus four games.

Costco members can get access to an exclusive Asus Xbox ROG Ally promotion running through February 22nd that knocks $100 off the original $589.99 price and includes four games. The entry-level handheld had a rocky launch late last year, but its software has improved since then.

I just opened EasySMX’s new Switch 2 controller and I’m already impressed.

EasySMX’s S10 Lite claims to offer “native compatibility” with the Switch 2, and I found out what that means when I unboxed one today. There are no weird steps to enable remote wake-up (some require you to remove a Joy-Con while holding your breath — only a slight exaggeration), and you can customize the GL/GR rear buttons in the console’s interface. We’ll see after more testing if it earns a place in our buying guide to the best Switch 2 controllers.
