Meta kills CrowdTangle.

Users will have until August 14th to finish projects and migrate to Meta’s new social media tracker Meta Content Library and API or other services like it. Journalists and researchers used CrowdTangle to help track viral stories and misinformation through sites like Facebook and Instagram.

Rumors of CrowdTangle’s demise have been around since 2022 when Meta reportedly removed developer support for the service.
