Having conquered the US, Canada, and Latin America, Netflix is continuing its international march with the announcement today that it’ll offer its subscription service in the UK and Ireland in “early 2012.” The plan is to introduce the unlimited Watch Instantly movie and TV show streaming service with what’s described as a wide array of content, though specifics remain light on the ground. As to pricing, there will be “one low monthly subscription price.” We’ll have to wait until closer to this first European launch to find out exactly how much it will cost and which of Netflix’s content partners are on board.
